Engineered woods are created using layers of wood stacked cross grain and secured together using heat and pressure. Because of the layering, engineered wood is less likely to be affected by moisture and humidity, so they are suitable for almost any room.
Due to its hardness, Santos Mahogany is an excellent choice for residential settings. It has 10 ply structure topped with 7 layers of finish, including several coats of aluminum oxide to protect against wear while enhancing the natural tones. This product can be nailed and glued. The warranty is to the original retail purchaser and not transferable. Manufacturer warrants that the wood flooring is free from defects in lamination and assembly as long as you own the product. Manufacturer warrants that the finish on the wood flooring will not wear through or separate under normal residential use when maintained in accordance with recommended maintenance guidelines for a period of 25 years. The manufacturer warrants that the wood flooring meets quality standards. You or your installer should carefully inspect the products before installation for any milling, dimension or visual defects. Any uncut pieces that appear to have defects should be returned to the original place of purchase; those pieces that do not meet our specifications will be replaced. Since wood is a natural product, there will be natural variations in color, tone and grain that are not covered by this warranty. This pre-installation warranty expires upon installation.
